Bang & Olufsen Expands Customization with Atelier and Exclusive Limited Editions
Bang & Olufsen has introduced Atelier, a new customization program that allows clients to create bespoke audio pieces in collaboration with master artisans in Struer, Denmark.
The launch responds to growing demand for personalized, high-end sound systems, giving customers more control over the design and materials of their B&O products.
Three Customization Options
Atelier offers three levels of customization:
- Atelier Bespoke – A fully custom approach where clients work directly with an artisan to create a one-of-a-kind product using unique materials or finishes.
- Atelier Catalogue – A selection of over 500,000 possible combinations, letting customers mix and match fabric, wood, and aluminum finishes to design their own speaker.
- Atelier Editions – Limited-edition collections featuring some of B&O’s most iconic products, finished in exclusive colors and materials.

The Beosound 2 Gradient Collection
To mark the launch of Atelier, Bang & Olufsen has introduced the Atelier Limited Edition Beosound 2 Gradient Collection. This collection features ten distinct gradient finishes, each inspired by the emotional impact of sound. Every color is limited to ten pieces, all individually numbered and engraved.

Beolab 90 Alchemy Edition – A Rare Collector’s Piece
One of the most striking Atelier Editions is the Beolab 90 Alchemy Edition, an ultra-limited release of just 50 pairs. Each set is individually numbered and crafted with 24-carat gold-plated components, bronze mesh covers, and walnut wood details. Created by the Atelier Bespoke team, this edition highlights Bang & Olufsen’s focus on craftsmanship and materials.
Customization at Every Level
Atelier allows customers to tailor a range of B&O’s flagship products, including:
- Beolab 28 – Customizable aluminum core, wood and fabric outer cover, and inner textile.
- Beovision Harmony – Personalizable cover options in fabric, aluminum, and wood.
- Beolab 8 & Beolab 50 – Custom aluminum, wood, and fabric options.
- Beovision Theatre – Custom stand colors, top covers, and finishes.

A Personalized Experience
Every Atelier Bespoke creation is finished at Bang & Olufsen’s Struer facility, where designers and engineers collaborate to bring custom designs to life. Clients can consult with specialists to fine-tune details, select materials, and create a product tailored to their space.
For those looking for a truly unique statement piece, Atelier offers an opportunity to own a Bang & Olufsen product that exists nowhere else.
